“ Kyle has supported me in ways that have genuinely changed my life, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

There have been times when I’ve felt incredibly low and directionless, and Kyle has guided me through many of these moments. His empathy and compassion are unmatched and you can feel how deeply he cares, and how he understands what you’re going through.

He has helped me in more ways than he even realises and has inspired me, taught me, and played a huge role in helping me grow into a better version of myself.

And as I continue on my journey, I know that when life becomes challenging, Kyle is someone I can rely on.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you, Kyle. God bless you for the work you do and the impact you have on so many lives, including mine. ”

Gavin North, E.P.I.C Collective Review

“I didn’t expect the level of clarity this would give me. It’s hard to even put into words. I felt completely present, completely in control of my mind and body in a way I haven’t experienced before.

I was unsure about parts of it going in, especially pushing myself through the techniques, but that ended up being the breakthrough. It showed me that the state you’re in mentally changes everything. Once that shifts, everything else follows.

What stood out most is how quickly it changed my baseline. What would’ve just been an average day turned into something completely different. Calmer, clearer, more in control.

Genuinely one of those experiences where you step back after and think, I didn’t realise it was possible to feel like that.”

“ I couldn’t recommend Kyle more. Not only knowledgable and understanding, but he also listens and advises as best he can. He can always relate to whatever problems I have and can always give me an honest opinion. He can always get his point across in ways I can understand with patience and compassion. ”

“ I couldn’t recommend Kyle enough. He has a way of explaining things that actually land, no generic textbook talk, just clear, practical psychology that makes sense in real life. Every session feels like a genuine conversation rather than a lecture, and he’s brilliant at getting straight to the root of an issue without making you feel judged.

If you want someone who’s honest, supportive, and genuinely invested in helping you understand yourself better, Kyle is your guy.

Highly recommended. ”

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Therapy typically focuses on processing past events and managing symptoms. E.P.I.C. Psychology builds on that foundation by explaining the psychological mechanisms behind your patterns and actively rewiring them for optimised performance.

  • Most clients report noticeable improvements within 3-6 weeks. Our data shows measurable changes in emotional regulation, thought management, and behavioural outcomes within the first month.

  • As a psychology researcher and coach (not a clinical therapist), I work with individuals seeking performance optimisation and behavioural change. Clinical cases requiring therapeutic intervention are referred to NHS or private therapists.

  • Every technique is grounded in peer-reviewed research from cognitive-behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, metacognitive therapy, attachment theory, and polyvagal theory. No pseudoscience, no generic advice.

  • Absolutely. Many clients work with both a therapist and a coach simultaneously, with clear boundaries maintained between clinical treatment and performance optimisation.

  • Working with me is practical, evidence-based, and outcome-focused. I’m a psychologist categorised as an applied psychology researcher (not a clinical therapist), so our work is about upgrading the underlying “system” driving your patterns, not just managing symptoms.

    Here’s what you can expect:

    • Clear goals and measurable progress: We agree on what “better” looks like and track change using simple, relevant metrics (mood, behaviour, performance, relationships, self-concept, emotional regulation).

    • Structured but human sessions: Sessions are typically 60 minutes and follow a consistent flow: check-in and metrics, focus for the session, deep work, integration, action plan, and updated measures.

    • Direct, supportive coaching: I’m warm but straight-talking. You’ll get honest feedback, practical tools, and clear next steps.

    • Between-session support: You’ll have simple practices, reflections, and psychoeducation between sessions to keep momentum (not just “see you next week”).

    • Evidence-based methods: I draw from research-backed approaches (for example CBT/ACT, metacognitive and attachment-informed frameworks) and adapt them to you.

    • Strong boundaries around therapy: If you’re in crisis or need clinical treatment (for example PTSD/acute risk), I’ll recommend appropriate NHS/private therapy support. If helpful, coaching can run alongside therapy with clear boundaries.
